Care and Storage

This set is dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to extend the life of your cookware. It’s oven-safe to 450°F (232°C) and suitable for use on all cooktops, including induction. To extend the life of your cookware, cook only on low to medium heat; never on extremely high heat as it can ruin the nonstick interior.

Clean the cookware before the first use. Handwash your pans in warm, soapy water. After cooking: Allow your cookware to cool down completely before running cold water (to avoid warping your pans). Once the pans are cool, clean the interior of the pans with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive dishcloth or sponge. Dry with a soft towel. Stubborn food can be removed with a sponge or non-abrasive scrubber and a little powder cleanser (like Bar Keeper’s Friend).
Handwash Recommended

This cookware is dishwasher safe. Hand washing and drying is always recommended to maintain the original look and performance of the interior and exterior finishes. If hand washing, use liquid dishwashing detergent with a sponge, nylon pad or dish cloth when cleaning cookware. A non-abrasive polishing cleanser may also be used for stains. Do not use oven cleaner, harsh detergents, chlorine bleach, steel wool or other abrasive cleaning pads.
How to Clean Difficult Stains

Food will be carbonized on the cooking surface at high temperatures, forming tiny black dirt marks. You can easily remove it from your ceramic cooking surface. 1. Pour vinegar onto a scrubbing pad and scrub the stain. Vinegar is effective in removing most stains. 2. Make a paste of 1 tablespoon baking soda and 2 tablespoons vinegar in a pan and fill warm water. Let the pan sit for a few hours then scrub the stains.
Is this set of cookware compatible with all cooktops?

Yes, the Member’s Mark 11-Piece Modern Ceramic Cookware Set features a stainless steel stay-flat honeycomb base designed for use with induction cooking. The diameter of the pan’s induction base should be equal to or larger than the size of the induction element one is using. If the pan’s induction base is much smaller than the induction heating element, the induction sensor may not recognize the pan and will not activate (heat).
Do the handles get hot?

The dual-riveted cast stainless steel handles are designed to stay cool and comfortable while you’re cooking. But metal handle will get hot in the oven or longtime cooking in extremely high heat. We recommend using potholders when removing the pots and pans from the oven and cook in medium heat.
Tips for maintaining the cookware

Cook using low to medium heat. Since the heavy-gauge aluminum construction provides excellent conductivity and delivers even heat distribution, the use of high heat is not necessary. The leading cause of material to lose non-stick nature is the use of very high temperature. Select proper burner size so that the heat touches only the bottom of the cookware and does not climb up the side walls to avoid discoloration of exterior after long time cooking. Do not use nonstick aerosol cooking sprays in your pans. They will leave residue, which may be difficult to remove, and will cause foods to stick to the pans. A little bit of oil or butter is perfectly keeping foods smooth and avoid sticking on our ceramic cookware. Always cool the cookware down to room temperature before washing. A sudden temperature change (thermal shock) can cause metal fatigue, warping, deformation, non-stick deterioration, chipping and discoloration.

If you have a gas stove with rough metal grates, be careful when you rotate and lean the pan. Carefully place pans on and off stovetops to avoid sliding across metal stovetops that may damage the bottom coating.
