Add a dash of 16th century flair with our Handcrafted Turkish Bowl. Brightly coloured bowls are hand turned and hand painted in traditional designs dating back to the 1500s. Turkish craftsmen meticulously apply colors in traditional patterns and then add a protective, shiny glaze. These Turkish bowls can be used as soup or salad bowls or to present guests with tasty tidbits—perhaps some authentic Turkish humus, cured olives or taramasalata (a delicious dip made from cured cod roe whipped with potatoes, olive oil and lemon juice). In fact, several of these bowls would be ideal for presenting meze, a selection of small dishes served with drinks or as an appetizer; basically, the Greek and Turkish version of the Spanish tapas. Whether you use this beautiful handcrafted Turkish bowl to serve food or simply as a decorative piece on a mantle or coffee table, its classic beauty is sure to draw the attention of guests. When something has been popular for over 600 years, there must be something special about it.

At the same time; goods decorated by colorful decorations and figures, with one side glazed which are used in decoration of wall tiles, porcelain, plates and ceramics are called “tile”, and this decoration work is called “art of tile”. Briefly tile is; mixing of some clay, dense quartz and contributory minerals like kaolin and feldspar, and then not only being decorative, but also their presentation to your table.
